Lake Life is a subsidiary of GEKU BV, which has been active in the finishing of timber-frame homes for over 30 years. As a result, it has extensive experience with this construction method. (fast, sustainable, and energy-efficient construction) Driven by a passion for water sports and knowledge of many different types of boats, Lake Life was founded with the idea of applying this experience to the construction of houseboats and vacation homes in Belgium.
The boat currently for sale was built as a demo model with great attention to detail.

Timber frame construction, made of laminated HSB lumber. Assembled with LVL wood for strength and straightness. Exterior walls insulated with 150 mm Gutex wood-fiber insulation. The floor is insulated with 24 cm of mineral wool. The interior walls are insulated with Gutex wood-fiber insulation for thermal and acoustic insulation.
The floor structure is fitted with a moisture-resistant panel and fully covered with 1.15 mm EPDM membrane.

The siding is Fiberdeck WE035 light gray. Composite and UV-resistant.
