The Aurora is an improved version of the design Sea-Jipper II with which Jaap Kraaier won a competition of the watersportsverbond in 1944 for a small cruiser yacht, suitable for the Zuiderzee. At the time, the Sea Jipper received high praise for her beautiful lines. The ship is composite built, the deck is made of 12 mm plywood with 12 mm teak parts screwed and glued on top.In 2000, the 3 cylinder Volvo diesel engine was installed.
