The 1989 Van de Stadt 34, nicknamed Dikke Jan, is a steel sailing yacht of 10.30 m length and 3.30 m width, with a draft of 1.45 m and a clearance of approximately 13.5 m. The ship is built with a solid steel construction and possesses a classic cabin layout with five fixed berths, complemented by a boiler, pressurized water system and a complete navigation package including VHF, GPS, depth gauge and compass.
Propulsion is provided by a Mitsubishi K4D diesel engine from 2004 with an output of 46 hp (34 kW), which has about 900 running hours. The ship is equipped with sprayhood, anchor winch, cockpit table, gas stove with oven, refrigerator and everything you need for comfortable sailing.
