MS Dolores - Steel motor cutter from Vripack.
MS Dolores is a solidly built steel cutter, designed by Vripack (Sneek) and built in 1985. Originally built as a sailing cutter, the ship was later skillfully converted to a motorboat. The multi-twist hull provides excellent sailing characteristics and much stability on the water.
In recent years, the ship has been renewed and improved on many points (see overview below). Extensive documentation comes with the boat, including a recent flush thickness report (2022).
2021/2022:
- Complete underwater ship treatment (multiple coats of primer & antifouling)
- 12 new zinc anodes
- New teak parts in cockpit, benches and floor
- Cockpit and railing completely painted
- Hull and superstructure painted (Epifanes 2C, RAL 9010 & 7016)
- Both water tanks re-cemented (drinking water safe)
- Electrical installation and dashboard partly renewed
- Sleeping mattresses with comfortable toppers
2024/2025:
- Antifouling renewed
- Repainted (RAL 9010/7016)
- New dashboard layout and gauges
- Windshield wipers and blades replaced
- Engine maintenance

For vessels from 1985 and younger, the seller must be able to prove that VAT has been paid. Vessels from 1984 and older are exempt from VAT.
