The Nelson Pilot 40 is one of the most iconic pilot boats ever designed. (Design by: Arthur Mursell and built by Halmatic UK) The ship 12 meters long, the hull is made of very strong fiberglass (GRP) and the superstructure is aluminum. The ship used to be used for transporting people to and from ships at sea. So the ship is extremely suitable for large and rough water, and extremely suitable for longer trips. Furthermore, the ship is inside equipped with all comforts ; Wheelhouse, a kitchen, new shower / toilet, sitting area, 2 fixed berths and 2 extra berths in the cabin. Two very strong diesel engines Cummins 150 KW / 204 HP.
