Wilster - characteristic Vollenhovense bol visserman in excellent condition
The Wilster is a beautifully lined Vollenhovense bol visserman version, built in 1985 by De Scheepbouwers BV in Werkendam (construction number 854). This classic Dutch flat-bottomed yacht combines authentic appearance with solid craftsmanship and modern comfort. With her warm woodwork, neat rigging and sturdy lines, she is a striking appearance on every waterway.
With a length of 8.10 meters, a width of 3.10 meters and a shallow draft of only 0.70 meters, the Wilster is ideal for both spacious inland waters and shallow waters. Thanks to the mast that can be lowered, the vertical clearance is only 2 meters, while standing is about 10 meters.
On board you will find practical facilities such as a poti-poti toilet, stainless steel water tank of approx. 100 liters, aluminum diesel tank of approx. 40 liters, Garmin handheld GPS, marine telephone and 3-color top light.
The Wilster has been carefully maintained and improved over the years. In 2003 a reliable Volvo Penta MD2030 was installed by VEHA Groningen. The underwater ship was sandblasted in 2001 by Elzinga in Irnsum. Recently renewed or executed are among others:

The woodwork has also been excellently cared for: spars, daggerboards and rudder were stripped bare and re-treated in 2023, and other parts have been maintained with high-quality Epifanes hardwood oil.
A heavy tarpaulin and cover for the cowling is provided for winter storage.
For vessels from 1985 and younger, the seller must be able to prove that VAT has been paid. Vessels from 1984 and older are exempt from VAT.
