The Bries is a classic polyester sailing ship designed and manufactured by E.G. van de Stadt in the years 1968-1972. The Bries is known for its seaworthiness and for its idiosyncratic superstructure, which is high and has relatively straight lines, does not appeal to everyone, but that high superstructure gives a lot of comfort and provides a spacious saloon with a headroom of over 180. She is suitable for sailing vacations and days out, has a reputation of a stable and reliable tour sailor. Designed for coastal waters, IJsselmeer, Wadden Sea and even the North Sea if used wisely. Due to the relatively heavy construction and considerable ballast, the ship feels solid, even in a little more wind. This van de Stadt is the last 17 years with much love proffesionally maintained and that shows. Many innovations such as the rigging. Masvoet is proffesionally repaired and the engine is overhauled. All invoices are present. Are you curious? Please call to make an appointment for a viewing.
