Het schip is oorspronkelijk gebouwd als een duikvaartuig en heeft 20 jaar ervaring in maritieme operaties op Noordzee. Het schip is de afgelopen jaren voornamelijk ingezet voor o.a. waterwerken, monitoring en installaties voor maricultuur.
Er zit een bijboot bij Zodiac met buitenboord motor van het jaar 2024.
De Stream is goed onderhouden, varend onder Belgische vlag met thuishaven Nieuwpoort ( België).
