After several years of sailing the Flora with great pleasure and passion, we are ready to slow down.
The Flora was built in 1929 as a sailing Wadden and Sontvaarder. In the nineties the ship was converted to a passenger ship. From April to October, the Flora sails weekly trips in the Netherlands and Germany with up to 24 guests. In winter, the Flora has a berth in the Oosterdok, opposite the science museum NEMO. This berth also gives the right to a limited amount of hotel stays. The rights to this berth can be taken over.
The ship has 11 attractive cabins with recently modernized bathrooms, these include a shower and toilet. There are 10 double cabins with separate beds and 1 cabin with a double bed. Two cabins have the additional possibility of a child (bunk) bed up to 12 years. The ship has a spacious cozy saloon and a large sun deck.
Recently the engine room has been completely renewed with a new stage 5 generator with heat feedback on the boiler, a new stage 5 main engine and gearbox. The Flora has therefore received a Green Award 'gold', this allows the Flora to berth at all passenger berths in Amsterdam and we receive a 15% discount on the harbor fee.
For vessels from 1985 and younger, the seller must be able to prove that VAT has been paid. Vessels from 1984 and older are exempt from VAT.
