Guggisberg Impala from 1969. Very unique Swiss Runabout made entirely of aluminum.
Very low maintenance, fast and economical to run. Because of its stern drive, the boat is very spacious and easy to steer. Water skiing is among the possibilities.
The boat was manufactured by a former employee, Mr. E. Guggisberg, of the famous Riva shipyard in Italy with the idea of manufacturing a Riva out of aluminum. Riva did not want to do this under its own flag and so the new yard was created just across the border in Switzerland named Guggisberg.
The tailpiece has been renewed, this has been sailed for less than 5 hours.
The boat has a 3 layer 2 component (De IJssel) paint system, hardwood floor and a custom made winter cover.
There is a tubular frame to which the bimini top is attached.
In 2013: had gray summer cover custom made
In 2017: entire subfloor replaced
In 2021: wooden plate on the inside of the transom replaced
In 2022: tail piece of the engine replaced for a new Alpha Generation, cylinder head replaced
